It said Lambeth Bridge. So Robb insisted. |
Yesterday we made the trek to Parliament (we didn't go in because of the 'pram' - and really taking a 10 month old to see the House of Lords doesn't work I don't think - we figured we'd take him back when he can appreciate the boringness of politics). We walked by Big Ben, crossed the Westminister Bridge, looked at the London Eye, marvelled, and walked back! I bought Bran his London shirt, and our typical souveniers.
In front of the Thames. It was windy. |
We then went to Westminister Abbey. If you ever go to London, buy the London Pass, it is super handy. However, not as amazing as the Paris Museum Pass - that thing was freaking amazing. That one let me skip lineups!
Walking through this amazing halls was ... aweinspiring. I walked where Princess Diana walked. Seriously people, amazing balls. We saw the names of all the major players in history, crammed into this one spot. Soon there won't be any of the original floor left, as it will be all plaques!
We then went to St. James's Park. Bran loved it.
Ducks, geese, swans. All amazing things. He wouldn't even look when we said "Camera, Bran!"And believe me, that's an amazing event!
After this, Robb, Bran and I went to Churchill War Museum. Such an interesting man, and such a cool slice of history. I would have loved to spend hours and hours there, but we only had one hour, as they were about to close!
Today we go to the Guard's Museum and watch the changing of the Life Guards (horses - Bran will be stoked). And then hopefully Abbey Road.
